ここでは、良い仕事をしたいという思いが先に来ることをまずは理解してもらいたい。本音を言うのはいいが、相手への敬意と配慮が欠けていれば、伝えたいことも伝わらない場合があるので注意が必要だ。自分の仕事を突き詰めていくと、多くの人や部署と関わりながらするものがほとんどだろう。その際に、円滑なコミュニケーションを進めていくにはどうしたら良いか考えてほしい。相手も自分と同じ熱意や経験を持ち合わせていれば伝わりやすいだろうが、そうでない場合や相手が忙しいときは特に、どうやったら相手の協力をうまく引き出せるか、ケースバイケースで臨むしかない。真摯な態度で本音を伝えて相手を巻き込み仕事を前に進めよう。

First of all, I would like you to understand that the desire to do a good job comes first. It’s okay to say what you really mean. However, be aware that if you lack respect and consideration for the other person, you may not be able to convey what you want to mean. If you pursue your own work, most of them will involve many people and departments. At that time, there is no need to hesitate, but I would like you to think about how to promote smooth communication. If the other person has the same enthusiasm and experience as you, it will be easy to communicate, but if that is not the case or when the other person is busy, you have to deal with it on a case-by-case basis as to how to get the other person’s cooperation well.
